Pre- and post-conference tours

Cycling along the banks of the Brisbane River

Visiting Brisbane is like finding yourself in an adventure playground, there is so much to see and do.

Take the time to see the sights and discover Brisbane and beyond. Tourism has been badly affected by the recent floods and cyclone, and many operators have suffered large scale financial losses. Delegates are strongly encouraged to support the state which relies heavily on the tourism industry by injecting some much needed dollars into the Queensland economy in the way of pre- and post-conference touring.

Take the time to explore this lovely city on your own, with your family or a colleague. Take a river cruise along the Brisbane River, a climb on the Story Bridge or visit the Botanical Gardens. Animal lovers can see Australian wildlife up close at Lone Pine or Alma Park Zoo. For the outdoors types, head out to sea on a fishing charter, or set sail on a sailing tour or cruise of Moreton Bay. Also, exploring nearby North Stradbroke and Moreton Island's beaches is a must.

With speed and grace, the CityCats cruise the river collecting and dropping off commuters at key city spots like the Eagle Street Pier, South Bank, New Farm Park and Portside.
