Brisbane Airport is located approx 16kms (about 10 miles) from the Brisbane city centre. The following services will transport delegates from the airport to their accommodation:

Coachtrans operates from Brisbane Airport to the city hotels and meets all major flights seven days/week. Transfer costs from Brisbane Airport to/from Brisbane accommodation as at January 2011 are $15.00 (adult) $8.00 (child) $38.00 (family) one way.

Airtrain departs frequently from both the domestic and international terminals at Brisbane Airport. Departing every 15 minutes (Monday - Friday), with reduced frequency on weekends. Travel time is approx. 20 minutes. Many Brisbane hotels are within walking distance of the four city stations. A single adult ticket costs $15 one way.

Delegates need to to print the official letter from Airtrain (see below to download) and hand in at the airport when making your transfers (no need to pre-book).
All major car hire companies, including Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Thrifty, operate in Australia and vehicles may be hired at Brisbane Airport.
There are 1,500 undercover parking spaces available at the centre, accessed by Merivale and Grey Streets. The car park is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Early bird rates are available: in before 9am and out between 3pm and 6pm.
International driving licences are recognised throughout Australia. Car rental companies ask for a valid driving licence.
Most Brisbane hotels provide coach transfers to and from the airport. Just ask the hotel representative when making your reservation. All you need is your flight itinerary.
One TransLink ticket will take you wherever you want to go on buses, trains and ferries. The CityCat and City Ferry Service operate from 5.30am - 10.30pm daily and an excellent means of exploring the city of Brisbane.

The Loop is a free Council bus service that circles Brisbane's Central Business District. The Loop stops at several destinations including Central Station, Queen Street Mall, City Botanic Gardens, Riverside Centre, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and King George Square.
